Sue Ericsson’s Drawing Fundamentals class at Ryerson. It’s my mother’s old chair in our living room. I had sketched it rough, and then used the sketch as a reference for this shading exercise in the class.
Cindy Woods made a deep, deep impression on me as one of the very few people who inspired me to keep drawing, not only by her generous encouragement, and by her incredible example of talent — but of her humanity. I would encourage anyone to visit the sites she populated with her art and joy.
Thank you CIndy!
